【Veuve Clicquot —— 香檳界的「偉大女性」與創新先驅​】

「Veuve」在法文中意為「寡婦」，這個名字直接訴說著品牌最核心的故事。凱歌香檳的成功，與一位名叫凱歌夫人（Madame Clicquot / Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin）​​ 的非凡女性緊密相連。

凱歌夫人​​在年僅27歲毅然接管亡夫家當時瀕臨倒閉的家族酒業，開始女性從商的傳奇。她對香檳工藝做出了兩項革命性的貢獻，一係​發明轉瓶桌（Riddling Table / Gyropalette 的原型），徹底改變了香檳的生產效率與品質；二係首創混合年份粉紅香檳，呢個亦成為後世粉紅香檳的主流製作方法。

TASTING NOTE BY WINE CRITICS

The 2008 Brut Vintage Rosé is showing well, exhibiting an inviting bouquet of berries, honeycomb, toasted brioche and plum preserve. Medium to full-bodied, it’s chalkier and more incisive than its white counterpart, with a lively spine of acidity and a saline finish. Again, the vintage signature is just as prominent as the house style. Drink date 2020-2040
