【 教皇新堡必定要試既著名酒莊 】

隆河Rhone Valley南部既教皇新堡Châteauneuf-du-Pape (CNdP)，產酒歷史可以追溯至1321年教宗係該區開始種提子釀酒。佢既紅酒濃郁飽滿，以香料味道見稱，而且酒區法定葡萄品種多達13種，非常有特色，更係酒評家Robert Parker最愛既產區。

Beaucastel酒莊係教皇新堡著名酒莊，早於1950年開始有機耕種，1974年開始使用生物動力自然農法Biodynamics。Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape Rouge並不如其他酒莊般極大比例使用Grenache提子再搭兩三款其他提子，而係巧妙結合13款提子既不同特質去混釀，所有提子品種都係個別採收同以不同方式發酵成酒，然後先由釀酒師去混釀，再去入桶熟成。

2020年份一如其他年份，香氣豐富複雜，濃郁果味夾帶可可豆、甘草等香料味道，而且更富紅果味道及花香，單寧絲滑充足，整體平衡甚佳，非常值得買入再擺幾年佢熟成至最佳狀態。

TASTING NOTE BY WINE CRITICS

Beaucastel’s 2020 Chateauneuf du Pape is shaping up as a blend of 30% each Grenache and Mourvèdre, with 10% each Counoise and Syrah, plus 20% other permitted varieties, including a healthy proportion of white grapes. Complex and red-fruited, with hints of flowers and garrigue, it’s expansive and richly textured on the palate, finishing long and silky.
